What is a good side dish that doesn't have so many vegetables? So far everything I've ordered is loaded with broccoli, peppers etc. Is there anything that just has maybe one vegetable, chicken, and gravy?

What is Moo Goo Gai Pan (sp?) Is that any good?

Mongolian beef? Orange chicken?

Are you eating in a real restaurant, or something like China Express?

Some express joint. I don't think this place even has mongolian beef on its 'Dinner Combo'.

I just need something quick and greasy. :)

If its express, don't you walk along and see all the possible dishes? Get whatever looks good. Peking ribs or duck maybe?

Get something like orange chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour pork, something like that. Usually the dishes that have breaded meat(like the ones I just listed) don't come with veggies.

Beef with broccoli. You make that with beef and broccoli just like it says. If not you can go after them for truth in advertizing.

That's my favorite! It only uses green onion from the various places that I have eaten before. Willow beef is OK too.

Any black bean Hot Pot would do.

1. Fish
2. Pork (even those I hate pork)
3. Chicken
4. Beef
5. Prawn

or roast pork & duck.

The best veggie dish is steam Gai Lan serve with a thin soy-sauce/sesame oil.

Moo Goo Gai Pan is sliced chicken with mushrooms. Some places add different vegetables in that dish.

If you want a dish with less vegetables, I'd try Orange Chicken, General's Chicken or Lemon Chicken.

When I was in Philly, they had Grandpa's chicken, which is close to Sweet Sour chicken, but with more flavour.

Sometimes I go to Chinatown here in Vancouver, and find some tiny little hole in the wall restaurant. I order something sounding odd, get something that looks odder, and don't ask questions. Good stuff :)

The "western" chinese food places are good too though. Sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken, chicken chow mein, chop suey... mmm
