Will AMD make there own chipset for the A64? Or will Nvidia/Via's offerings be the only available platforms? Why doesn't the Via A64 platform support Dual DDR? Will all A64 chipsets be non-dual ddr?

Thanx

The DDR controller is apart of the cpu. It's embedded. So it's up to the cpu to be dual or single channel or not. Not VIA. The chipsets are just AGP bridges with a Hypertransport as a "HUB". AMD has chipsets to support it. I could be wrong.
