Questions about a Dell Inspiron 6000

I was just wondering if the videocards are interchangeable.. for instance if I bought it with a 64MB or 128MB card and later wanted to upgrade to a 128-256MB video card... is the pci express slot universal?

How about the RAM? Is it cheaper to buy the 1 512MB stick and then just order a second one elsewhere... whats the best way to go? Im assuming laptops will likely need 1 gig of RAM pretty soon anyway. Would it be better to keep the base 256 MB RAM and just buy two sticks of 512 and pop those in afterwards?

This is a college laptop, but also a laptop to play around on. Should I get the 2 or 3 year warranty? How about the processor, is it worth just staying with the 1.6ghz and upgrading that later, or should I go for the 1.86 Ghz?

How about Windows XP Professional? Is that a requirement or is Home good enough?

Is upgrading to the Ultra Sharp screen worth the extra $125? I like my Ultra Sharp at home for my desktop.

How big of a harddrive should I get? Is it worth going for the 7200 rpm 60 gig drive, or saving money on either the slower 60 or 80 gig drives?

Will a DVD burner be necessary?

These are just a bunch of questions I have. I'm pretty set on the Inspiron 6000, I like the 15.4" screen, I think thats the ideal size. 17" might be too much and too expensive. Whats the best way to go for getting a 1.6-1.86 Ghz P-M, 512-1 Gig of RAM, 64-128MB Video Card? Aftermarket or from Dell?

Most importantly... when would be the best time to order this computer... when do Dell's best deals come out and is there any major technology I should be aware of that will come out before June-July of this year? (Such as the 9300 and the 6000 getting DDR2 533mhz SDRAM and video card upgrades) Thanks
