questiong about wireless adapter

A friend of mine's computer has no wireless card in it, but they want to remove the cables they have running along the floor.

She has a wireless router already.

She only had 1 PCI slot available.

It won't be a long distance, around 20 feet from the router. She doesn't play any games, the most she would do is stream movies from Netflix.

is it better to use a PCI card such as:

those were just the first things that came up on amazon. Any advice on which type to buy or brands that are best would be helpful.
