Just because you ATOTers don't care doesn't mean we shouldn't put it in. This is standard stuff to put in if you're at more advanced technical forums (i.e. DFI Street, XtremeSYstems). DFI Street makes you put it in in fact. How do people give you tech support when your rig is not clearly listed in there? It's just a way so people can help you quickly. It's not about e-penis wars. Calm down.

Easy. You list it in the thread when you ask for help OR you simply do as I've suggested with the Anandtech System Rigs and link THAT to the thread - or keep it linked in your sig.

So there. It's not like you get ONE CHANCE to ever type in your system specs and that's it, or something.

Keeps the forums nice and clean, ya know? Most people have really really ugly ways of laying out their system rigs. I like signatures, but having a giant list of crap does little more than clutter and bloat the page layout 😛 System rigs are a great way to keep signatures tidy. 🙂
