Question.

That's red. It looks pink because there are some white threads in there or the flash from the camera made some parts look white.
 
In the image it is slightly pink, but an image is not necessarily an accurate representation.

What I find more interesting is that the color that most people call "red" is actually orange-red .. like the border on the star icon this forum uses for "favorites".

True red is the color of the quick-reply icon.
