Question: Why can't we utilize mulitple RAM chips using Raid concept?

Or perhaps I should change to the question to why don't we...
Anyways, would this even result in a performance increase since RAM is so fast anyways? I have 3 128MB PC133 sticks of SDRAM, and I was beginning to think of the possibility of utilizing more DIMMS efficiently using the RAID concept. Why not use them all at once to split the load? Would anyone like to comment?

I believe this is *exactly* the concept behind RIMM pairing as on the i850 chipset for p4 from Intel...

For SDRAM it would be really hard to do because of all the extra traces that would need to be on the motherboard. Totaly cost in-effective.
