Question: Why am I seeing so many Enermax 431w supplies for sale?

It seems like there has been a run of people selling these supplies after having used them for a few months. Is there something wrong with them? Are they too noisy for most people? Are they overkill? Did they win them in a contest along with the MSI/XP combos? 🙂

I just ordered one and am kind of alarmed by the number of people getting rid of them.
 
Actually, I haven't noticed a lot of people selling them, but if it's true, I'd like to know as well because mine just arrived.
 
There have been 5 or 6 in the last 3 weeks. Not exactly an epidemic, but....

Maybe I'm just noticing them because I bought one? 🙂

 
Its because of the 5 volt issue with the Epox 8K7A,there is an easy mod you can do but people are too lazy or dumb to do it.Its all fine with me because I love having a room full of cheap high quality power supplies.Wanna sell yours? I'll give you $25 American.
 
Well...I'm not dumb, lazy, or the owner of the Epox 8K7A...so I guess I'll hang onto mine.

I believe the Epox board is the only one pulling the 3.3 v rail off the 5 volt supply, correct?
 
I have (2) 8K7A's and (2) Enermax 465P-VE's w/ no issues. The 5v rail is ~4.80ish.
