And if you think about it, Batman and if you slice of the hands of the green lantern they are both mortal. AS well as wonder woman. I think that flash would just about be the hardest one. Can't kill what you can't see. Of course The same thing applies with yoda in that instence.

A Jedi Master can move something like eight times the speed of his natural abilities. A jedi's reflexes are great. :) So that takes care of the flash. And, about not seeing things, part of a jedi's training is not to trust their eyes. :D The force can sense life. There is only one life form (other than little bugs with little or no brain) that the force cannot sense. It's a mostly-transparent dragon called a Taozin; it basically absorbs force energy directed at it. A force probe returns dead air -a deadspot in the force. :) The sabers don't effect it as well, either. The lightsaber partially refracts when you contact it with the Taozin, so you're risking burning your skin or something like that if you try killing it with one. so Wonder Woman's invisible jet is out of the picture as well. :)

Anyway, don't mind me. I'm really not a Star Wars fan... really, I'm not. ;)

Actually, in one of the Timothy Zahn Star Wars books, there is a creature, I think it begins with a 'y', that actually repels the Force. It creates a Force-void bubble around it. The only other thing it does is sit there though. And its not transparent, either. It just hangs off of trees.

Superman in his present form would be far beyond a Jedi's power to harm ;) As for the mind tricks, if they won't work on Jabba then they won't work on Superdude either!

What about the critters in the first Timothy Zahn trilogy that created force free bubbles? Forgot what they were called.

Edit: Mookow was too fast for me. Good call man.

judist,

When JK first came out a bunch of people from my office would get together a friends house and we used to play that.
Lightsaber Force only First one to like 50 won. THAT was hard. no defenses

we also used to do 16 player 300 frag limit winner.

NOW THAT WAS FUN.. it only took me 45 mins to hit 300 frags the next closest was like 175. I loved that game I kicked a$$.

not that I'm bragging or anything. :D

ARE YOU CRAZY?!?!!? The mind trick only works on "weak minds" superman would go and punch them all out in one second, before they could even perform a mind trick, superman alone.......

<<Superman in his present form would be far beyond a Jedi's power to harm >>

I thought Superman was vulnerable to magic. Jedi powers are basically a form of magic, as far as comics go, so that might be an advantage.
Without magic, no Jedi could remotely harm Superman, lightsabers or not.

The rest of the Justice league would be crushed by Jedi.

Mind trick is not the only powers the Jedi has. They have speed, agility, and other kick ass force powers. Remember, Darth Vader choked a Admiral by looking at him on the screen (in TESB). Again, I'm including the Sith because he added 2 groups together. Might as well throw in the wimpy Power Puff girls to help the Justice League. ;)

Oh yeah, they don't need a light saber to destroy Superman. Just throw a piece of Kryptonite and he'll cry like a baby. ;)

haha, but remember, where is the jedi's gonna find kryptonite? It takes place in a galaxy far far away, where all the alloys and elements are different, and of course, this fight is taking place where?

ps. The green lantern will put those jedi's in a little green ball, and throw them into space, where he will take the green ball away, and they will run out of air.....

and if a jedi's so strong and fast, how come I never seen that displayed in the movie? Except for yoda, and come on, I could keep up with him easily ;)

It's not hard to find... especially when the Dark Jedi make their crystals for their lightsaber.

wait a second... I'm arguing like a moron with a bunch of morons about things that don't exist... I'm gonna go outside and play now. :p

You seem them display it all of the time, just pay closer attention to the movies. Do you really think that Obi-won would be able jump atleat 30 feet in the air without it? (TPM). it's displayed just suttle.

Not to mention The Jedi Forsight, They can see them that happen before they do. so that would give them a advantage.
as far as superman, A lightsaber will slice through ANYTHING. all it would take is for Superman to think that he's invinceable and he'd find himself impaled on one like a roast pig.

Ok......Ive done this many times too (comes with the territory when you spend much of your time on a character vs. character message board)

I think that IN THE END, it would come down to a small group of Jedi (if yoda were there, he would be in this. Mace got schooled by Green Lantern), vs the Flash and Superman. Both of the superheros can move faster than light (this is comics, mind you) so the Jedi would have to be extremely reliant on their ability to forsee short distances in the future. Im sure they could, and then the Flash, as he comes in to make an attack, meets the business end of a lightsabre, and looses his better half (whichever one that is).

That leaves the group of Jedi, vs Superman. This would be the mother of all battles. Im gonna throw in a couple dark jedi (they got pissed battling all these overpowered superheros, and decided to fsck the world). Superman has trouble dealing with Magic, and anything mystical really (things he doesnt understand) so I think a couple shots of force lightning would disorient him enough to try a full assault with Lightsabres, and mind control. Using the lightsabres to keep him off balance, the combined efforts of the force lightning and mind control would leave ol' clark a broken shell of his former being.
