Question: What is most important to you and why?

A lot of times when you go to personal development seminars or job interviews, they ask this question. Most of of the times I hear Family or God.

So what is most important to you and why (excluding God and Family)?

For me it is living my life in a way where I don't have any regrets. If I want to have a steak at a certain place, I make plans and do it. The thing I am working on is my timing. I missed seeing the Broadway show "Young Frankenstein" and now it shut down. I'm kinda pissed about that one.

I tried that life without regrets thing and I'm done with it. The thing about living your life without regrets is that you're constantly jumping around doing different crap because everything that pops into your head can't be denied or else you might regret it. I find it is better to accept that I will not get to do everything I want to and find happiness is what I will do. This is my Oprah moment.

Being happy. Work/money/doing stuff isn't all that life's about.

I'd assume most interviewers would not like that answer, since it shows a lack of "loyalty to the company."

A college education and a happy marriage that will both lead to a happy family that I will enjoy taking a leading role in.
