Question to RSX Owners

Is their much back seat room at all?

A little, but not much. I have a friend with one. A third person can fit fine, 4 people a big no no. Nobody taller than 6 feet will sit comfy int he back.

maybe it's just because none of my friends are over 6 feet, but i think there's enough room for 4 people

Not really. It does have more room in back than say a Porsche 911 but I would want to sit back there. People who sat back there were not too happy about it.

Whole heartedly disagree, I was designated driver for my buddies back in highschool.

All of us were over 6 feet and we all fit fine.

Heh, and I get to disagree with you. With two friends 5'10 (Driver) and 5'11 (Pass) and 6'2 (Me, Back), there wasn't any room for a fourth person to sit. And I wasn't very comfy.

there's plenty of space width-wise... i'm guessing other people have had drivers and passengers that scooted their seats way back or something, forcing the guy in back to sit diagonally

I'm 6'2 and my head touches the roof if I sit in the back of my coworker's '05 RSX.

I drive one, and I try to warn people about the back seat. The head room is lacking, but for short trips, it's fine. I've found the plastic cup holder, seat divider.... whatever that thing is in the middle of the back seat, to be useless and annoying if you try to stretch out or have someone sit in the middle.

There's a big difference between 'fitting' in there fine and being comfortable. Sure 6 footers fit fine in the back for short periods of time, but I wouldn't want to spend more than 20 minutes in the back, otherwise you are going to end up with nerve damage. 🙂

When in high school most people's definition of "fit" and "comfy" are quite a bit different than later in life. I remember back in high school 4 of us would pile into a MG if we had to (two in front seats, two sitting back behind the front seats in the small cargo area).
