Yo...

I was in one of my math classes the other day and I saw this guy with a really cool pad of paper! The front said "Engineering Calculation Pad" and it is basically graph paper (very small squares) that's three hole punched...

The guy (even though I've only been in the class a few days) seems very anti-social so I don't really wanna go up and ask him where he bought it...

Anybody ever seen one of these things and have an idea where to buy 'em? I haven't seen anything like it at Walmart or whatever.

hmm..i know my university's book store used to have it. I never had to buy it because my father is an engineer and gave me stacks of the stuff
 
It's pretty commonly used in engineering/physics departments. Some of my classes used to require we do homework on it. Check the campus bookstore or ask any engineer/physics guy and they'll know where to get it.
 
You mean the green sheets with a very light grid on the front? Yeah, goto your college bookstore. It's cheaper there then at Staples (at least for me). Its called an Engineering Pad or something like that.

The grid is actually on the back. The paper is thin enough that the grid can be seen from the front.

I use it ALL the time. It makes technical stuff look much better, and I tend to write neater on it (which makes it easier for everyone else who tries to read it)

It's become my favorite "filler object" at staples so I can get over $100/150/etc.

You don't want to go up to the guy and ask where he got his graph paper and you think he is anti-social?
