Question: Starting to build a new system. Any good deals on cool cases?

Unfortunately I missed all the previous deals. Anyone knows where to get a good deal for a good case with good cooling, easy access, cool looking, etc...

Thanks.

There was a hot deal regarding the Antec SX830 a while ago.
Try searching it.
Anyway, go to your nearest computerstop outlet and buy that case.
Free shipping.

not that it matters, but the best deal i found was at a store in town. $40 got me a 6 bay mid-tower with a h*ll of a lot of space in it. case is tough as nails too.

may be a good idea to post this in the "i wanna" thread tho, this one may be lcoked soonish

i will see if i can get you an aluminum coolermaster atc201 like mine for $270 shipped (normal price is $310 shipped). takes a week to find out from supplier if they're willing to sell for cheap. (they don't have a lot though) specs only a few are willing to pay more than $100 for a case, however elaborate, though.

I can vouch for the SX1030. Bullet-proof case. Two fans in the front, two in the back and an AMD approved PS. One of the fans in the front blows directly over your Hardrive (s). You can't go wrong with this case, as its just slightly bigger than a mid-tower but has all the features of a full-tower. I won't be buying anything else in the future.

Hey, MillionaireNextDoor that is an over the top case if I ever saw one. Looks like something I would see in Audiophile Mag. And, I thought I had all the toys. Got to save that link and send it to all my buds.

your local fry's might have this on display. that's how i found out about it. it is sweeter in real-life! when i picked it up, it's as though it weighs less than a laptop (no power supply though..:()

The Coolermaster is sweet and I wouildnt mind one myself. Very light and looks awesome but I still prefer my Chenbro Genie from coolcases. Smaller than a server case but bigger than a regular tower. Tons of expansion room and for the price of the Coolermaster it came with 2 quiet 120mm fans and a 400watt sparkle power supply. Get the CoolerMaster if you want a good looking case that you might need to tote around, get the Chenbro if you want the ultimate overclockers case.

Yeah, colorcase is my pick... I grabbed the Venus model, all aluminum, translucent, the heat, baby. Good cooling, super easy access (no screws), with a Fortron 300W PS... I love it to pieces... That's my recommendation for a cool case, dude...

Another vote for the Antec 1030. I say get it in the black version. It's also available with an Antec 400 watt power supply, ATX 2.03 compliant. That's what I got. (That power supply is both Athlon and Pentium 4 (think two years from now, maybe) compliant. P4 is tough on power supplies.) The 300W antec that comes standard is also Athlon approved. (It might be 2.03 P4 compliant, don't know.)

The black 1030b is really a beauty. Size is between standard midtower and tower, closer to midtower. 4 x 5.25 bays, 2 external 3.5's, and 3 internal 3's (or 4 if don't use the second external). Comes with 2 fans out the back, nice pop in holders for two more 80mm sucking in from the front, including one over the internal HDD bay holder. Nifty.

Room in there for a dual processor mobo. Can take any mobo, actually.

Super case. I plan on keeping mine for about 10 years!
