Question regarding TERM PAPER formating?
My teacher said cite the resource at the end of EVERY paragraph, i found that funny....well my temp paper is divided into 8 sections, and each section is just about from 2 resources, would it be rite to just cite the resources for each section?....im a sophmore in highschool if u wonder...and anyone know any good places to find resources on formating a termpaper?

Your teacher's request is odd. References are usually at the bottom of every page, or grouped altogether at the end of a paper. I've not heard of putting them after every paragraph. There is a writing handbook called "The Elements of Style." I forget who the authors are, but you can probably find it at Amazon.

Still, you should go with what the teach wants, 'cause he/she is in charge . . .

BTW: What's your paper's topic?

Hm.. does your teacher mean a full citation at the end of every paragraph, or just a intext citation at the end of the paragraph?

For example, for a full citation, it'll be something like this for every reference:

Yellon, S. M. (1996). Daily melatonin treatments regulate the circadian melatonin rhythm in the adult Djungarian hamster. Journal of Biological Rhythms, 11, 3. UMI-ProQuest Direct. [Online] [Dec 11, 1997].

Or a in text citation would be something like:

Australian natives considered bilby meat a delicacy (Schneider, 1990).

If your teacher meant the former, that's extremely strange. If he meant the latter, then i can see how that *might* be ok.

Try the MLA or APA style guides (you can search for web pages that mention these styles if you don't have a paper one). You can also go for Chicago style, but that manual is much bigger and more complex. You might want to use parenthetical references (this is the style that many people use today) within the paper and a Works Cited at the end of your paper.
