Question regarding PCI-E and their video card lines

I am currently running an ATI Radeon 9500 PRO 128mb AGP softmod'd to 9700. I also have a Radeon 9200se PCI that I am running for two other monitors (4 monitors total).

I recently purchased a P4 3.4e LGA775 and was looking at some of the 925X/915 chipsets. Most had PCI-E and DDR2 dimm slots. I don't need a high end video card, so I was looking to purchase a "X300 128mb" model video card made by probably Sapphire. I was curious what this X300 would compare to. Would it be similar/better/worse than my current ATI Radeon 9500 PRO 128mb? Or would I be better off spending nearly twice as much for a 6600GT pci-e? Thanks!

Bwahaha.

X300 will be about a Radeon 9200. If you don't need anything high-end at all, buy one with the Intel GMA900 onboard and use that. 🙂
