Hi all, firstly I would like to say I'm new to this forum, so excuse me if I'm posting in the wrong section or something
So, on to my question.
I am trying to decide what laptop I should get and the choice for me stands between 2 laptops I've seen that I'm interested in (these are the ones I found within my price range)
Now, I know my share of VERY basic computer hardware knowledge, but it's not great, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out
What I've figured out from the specs is that one has a better processor and the other a better graphics card but other than that the specs are VERY VERY much similar to each other.
Packard Bell EasyNote
AMD Athlon II X2 Processor P320
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 - 1 GB VRAM
4 GB DDR3 Memory
500 GB HDD
Acer Aspire 5741G
Intel Core i5 -450M Processor
Nvidia GeForce GT320M (Up to 2747 MB TurboCache)
4GB DDR3 Memory
500 GB HDD
---
The specs I've written above are the ones I thought were relevant, besides I think any other details that might be relevant are identical to both.
Now, I'm not sure which one to pick, from the research I've done it seems the Packard Bell has a much better graphics card whereas the Acer has a better processor.
The main concern I have really is how 2 games will perform on each of these laptops, Call of Duty 4 and Starcraft 2, and I'm not sure which one will prove to perform better. (Note, I also want to be running Fraps to record CoD4 gameplay at atleast 60 FPS, but not for Starcraft 2)
So yea, that's enough from me, I know It's a lot of stuff I've just written but I really have no clue which laptop to pick and ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated
Thank you very much for hearing me out, and thanks in advance for any help given
