Question regarding Final Fantsy 11

Hey all,

Me and my buddy played Final fantasy 11 a few years back, and we both quit.

He had the PS2 version and I was playing on the PC.

He wants to get back into it, but he sold his hard drive for the Ps2 version. I have my PC copy sitting collecting dust.

Now, can he install my PC copy and play it either: with his old account, or with a new account?

I can't seem to remember if my copy is tied to my account, or if here is able to just resume using his old account with my software.

Any help appreciated.

TIA

He can use your pc copy of ffxi to install it on his pc. Then all he has to do isthen log in using his old account if it hasn't been deactivated by se.

your copy isn't tied to your account,

OK cool. Do they deactivate accounts after a period of time?

depends, if you just deactivated the ffxi content id, the account and charcterts should still be intact I believe. But if you deactivated the playonline account id, it is deleted after 3 months, unless that has been changed. If that the case, you will have to buy a whole new copy of ffxi. Might be better to just buy the FINAL FANTASY XI Vana'diel Collection 2007. Since it comes with ffxi, and the 3 ffxi expansion pack, rize of the zilart, chains of promitha, and treasure of aht urghan. It cost anywhere from $20-$30
