Question regarding Comcast cable tv

I was speaking with a friend and she told me she pays like $18/month for basic cable. I asked her why cheap,
and she told me it's because she didn't use the cable box that everyone usually has. I called Comcast about three
months ago, and they wanted like $50+ for three tvs, and thats basic cable!!!!! digital was like $65.

Wut's the cheapest I can go for? I keep hearing different things. I dont need 50 movie channels. basic cable
is fine for espn and the local comcast show to watch sports.

i pay 12$ for basic with 1 cable box, i just got it cuz the price of having it and not having it makes my internet price the same.

$12?!?!?!?!? Wow...the reps I talk to must be trying to rip me off. What should I ask for next time I call? I told them I wanted
basic cable, and she quotes like $50+.

I have DSL with telocity, and I've been happy with the service, so there's no need for me to switch.

well whats included in ur basic? mine is just local channels. and prices are different in every area. I do telemarketing for charter cable some people pay 10-30$ for basic cable.

just ordered the cable installation today. he quotes me $48 for three tvs. The installation charges are absurd.
$30+ for the first tv and $17 for each additional! sheesh!!! and this is for basic. i figure the extra $20 for
the extra 100 channels isn't worth it. i just want my sports and some news channel
