What kind of audio connections are offered on this mobo? Are there optical and/or co-axial digital inputs and/or outputs?

head to newegg.com they take pictures of the actual stuff on their shelfs... so you know exactly what you will get

one thing to note the a7v333 raid version comes with the firewire... the non raid version doesnt

Anyone know if the A7V333's BIOS + voltage regulator supports Tbred? One reviewer also complained about a major difficulty in fitting this board into a std ATX case (something about the non-std I/O port layout)! ...Hmmm.

From what I have seen at Newegg, the A7V333 comes with the I/O shield. The non standard I/O port shouldn't be a problem unless you are using a cheap case. If someone is using a cheap case then it serves them right for not spending a little extra on one of the more important part of the system.

I don't think that we answered the question, and it's been asked several times and I'm also interested in the answer.

If the A7V333 supports spdif optical out how the heck to your connect it to an optical out device if Asus doens't give you connectors. In other words Asus has optical out but you can't use it unless you supply your own connectors ???
