Okay I have a question. Upon reading reviews for the abit kt7a, I learned that abit has a new safety feature that will make the computer unable to boot if you do not have a fan plug into the CPU1 3 pin header, or if you do, and the fan is not working, registering 0 RPM, the computer will not boot. Well I have also read that some of the fans today will burn up a 3 pin header, so they include 3 to 4 pin molex adapters. If this is the case then how can this problem be solved. I am trying to make a quiet pc so my fan will likely not produce enough power to burn the header, but what about others that will. LMK what you guys think.

if thats is the case then you could just plug in a small exhaust fan to make it happy! I have a kt7 and i have a delta fan on a 3 to 4 pin converter. i used the onboard one for my exhaust.

The 3pin on the Abit KT7 can handle the black lable delta fans I read this at some website cant remember the name. I have used the black lable no prob
