Question: PC-75 and E-ATX

Hello, I am about to buy a dual processor board, specifically the Tyan K8W (less you guys recommend a better one with pci-x and 8x agp hehe) as I need to be able to run multiple graphic and cpu intensive applications simultaneously on one system. This version of the board is not a standard ATX, but an Extended ATX (EATX). My question is, will this board fit into a Lian-Li PC-75 Full Tower? And if so, is there a good chance the holes will line up without me drilling (kind of dont want to deal with that). I saw on a 3rd party site that the case is EATX compatible, but I didnt see at on Lian-Li's and wanted to get the expert opinion of you guys before I purchase it.

On a related but off topic thought, does anyone have a recommendation for a good EPS power supply? Im new to all these workstation standards. Thanks in advance!

not sure about the case, but my friend runs a dual opeteron server, and he's running it all with a 550w enermax eps.

If it didn't fit I'd be amazed. The mounting board on a PC-75 supports everything up to and including dual CPU MOBO's. I've been very satisfied with my PC-75 so far.

Good luck and a little advice.

1. If you get a windowed door, go with Lexan. It's much more durable and clear compared to plexi.

2. The chasis-intergrated (on the back of the case) fan grills are restrictive. Get them punched out if you can.

3. If you're want extra fan holes cut-in, and don't have experience with aluminum, get the done professionally. The aluminum case material is very soft compared to steel and is easy to screw up.
