Question on Win XP Pro upgrade from Home Edition

Can you downgrade back to the regular home version ?

To remove Windows XP, you must have upgraded from Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, or Windows Millennium Edition.

Note If you upgraded from Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Windows 2000, or Windows NT 4.0, you cannot remove Windows XP.

Whats the point? WinXP is better(especially from a network point of view) than home and performs identical.

Why are you upgrading? As the above poster said: XP Pro performs the same, looks identical, and can do mostly the same stuff (biggest difference is 'limited' network options: i.e you can't connect to a domain)
