Question on where to place thermal compound....

Where on a P4 do you place ArticSilver II, do you place all over the complete die on the chip (the silver area), or is there somewhere else on the die.....is someone has a picture where i can see it on the chip itself i would really appreichte it.

You should put a very thin layer of Arctic Silver on both your whole CPU heat spreader (the large silver square on the P4 core) and also the bottom of the heatskin that will make contact with the cpu.
