Question on this Superstition.............

My wife (Assist. Manager) has this co-worker (sub-par employee) where she works (convienient store) that hates her guts & just thinks she's out to get him but she's only looking out for the store. (he's lazy as hell & treats all/even customers like crap) Ages = Him/50+ Her/34 (don't ask about her Hiring/Firing as she's suggested this in the past & here bosses boss let's him get away with everything)

One day, she finds this small cup in one of the freezers that was filled halfway with water & frozen with a piece of paper halfway sticking out of it which has her name written on in several times.

A friend of my wifes says it has something to do with an old (Hispanic/Puerto rican) custom where if you hate someone & you want them to go away, you do this? Anyone have any info on this ?

For those of you questioning on what she did after she found this little note........ She made up a note the same way & froze it in a cup half full of water just as he did & on the note she wrote--- HA HA HA, still here, did'nt work **LOL**


EDIT----- Forgot to mention that he's Puerto Rican.
 
I've never heard of that one, but I'll go call up grandma to find out what I can. Haven't talked with her in a bit.
 
I'm Puerto Rican and have never heard of that. I asked my mom and she says she never heard of that either. That is really weird.

Silver Ravenwolf's book Teen Witch The Frost Giant Put the person's name on a peice of paper(and the problem if you wish)draw a horizontal line anywhere on the paper except through the name. Fold the peice of paper up, slip it into a zip-lock baggie,throw it into the freezer,ask the frost giants to sit on this person so they will leave you alone/do no more harm in the situation, yell or firmly tell that person to"cool off" and slam the freezer door.Leave it in there from one New Moon to the next and if that does not work,leave them in there till the next New Moon.

Freezer #2
Take a bowl fill it with water and set it in the freezer til it gets really cold (close to freezing).On a peice of paper,write downt the person who is angry with you.Put the paper in the water towards the bottom of the bowl.Let it all freeze. As soon as the person has cooled down,you can remove the bowl of water and thaw it out.Some people blow dry the paper with the name and then burn it,others bury it,and I've know a few who just throw it away.Use what ever method feel right for you.

The thing is, my wife is fairly fluent in Spanish & knows the spelling mistakes commonly made by the hispanic/puerto rican .................. On the note, the name was spelled Pinnch (real name was Pinch)

All other employees know better only unless they're trying to pin it on him(I doubt it). They are those "unbright/hillbilly" complainers that complain about this & complain about that, that the company is no good & that they are stealing from them..... bla, bla, bla................. to all the other employees & customers.
