I don't have a lot of money to spend on speakers... pref only $30 or so.

I already have a very nice 2.1 set. What I want to get it 2 more speakers for rear setups. I have an audigy. Can I just get a decent 2 piece set of speakers and use them as my rear speakers and have everything work properly with DVD?

Well unless your speaker system properly decodes 5.1 although you should be able to do a splice job and have sound going to all 4 speakers and both subs (OH BABY), you won't have true surround sound.

Hmmm i was thinkin about that... 1 sub right under the futon and the other is on top of the shelf over my desk.... its over an empty cabinet piece so it really revererates well :D I can vibrate the speakers off the desk it gets so loud ;)
