I have a 533 motherboard that died can i use 2700ddr ram on a 800fsb motherboard that i have 400ddr in now i plan on getting a new board for the machine i'm using and put the board in the other machine. i have a 1000mb 2700ddr ram that i don't want to go to waste... Thanks....
 
You want to use your PC2700 ram in a board that is currently running PC3200? You can, but all your ram will slow down to the PC2700 speed..
