question on punching down a keystone jack

Should I use the nonblade side to punch it in first then use the other side with the cut or just use the cut side the whole way through?

just don't screw up like a jerk here did, punched 20 something wires with the cutter on the wrong side, luckily it was dull and problems didn't start appearing for a month

AWESOME is what I thought of that

interesting side note. I have a patch panel. the individual connections are not labeled. I have 1 colored stud and connections on either side.

any idea which use th solid wire, which one the striped?

Stripe / white wire is usually on the left, as you face the back side of the panel.

Good Luck

Scott
