A week ago i had unprotected sex. Now shes telling me that shes feeling bad and she thinks she might be pregnant. Is it ok to take the pregnancy test now. Is it even possible to get pregnancy symptoms this early? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

btw, i didnt even "release" myself inside of her. But she brought up the possibility of precum.

If I recall correctly, you really need a minimum of two weeks to just get to the detectable limit of the tests. To be really certain of a negative result, you'll need more than two weeks.
 
I am not sure how accurate they are, especially at such an early stage. So you could get a false neg (or positive, it's happened to several women I know). Since it is possible she could be, go to a doctor or planned parenthood type free clinic and have them run a test.

edit: did she miss her period?
 
Heh, I'll actually try and give a real answer -

Does she know when she normally has her period? Generally you should take the test at the earliest a few days after she should have likely had her period. If she has anything close to a regular cycle of 28 - 30 days, then she likely ovulates around the 14th day, meaning about two weeks later would ROUGHLY be when she'd likely have her period, thus a few days after that would be when to test.
 
I usually have the girl test for prgnancy about 5-10 minutes after we have sex. So far I have had no "positive" results using this method.
 
Pregnancy tests aren't that acurate unless she's almost on her period. Wait until the hormones are right and follow the instructions on the test.
