ok i stumbled on some cheap peltiers on a electronics site...i have never installed one or not even completly sure on how they work....i hear they are good...i was curious aside from the actual peltier unit what else i would need to install one on a cpu???? any help i could get would be a giant help.......thanks and have a happy new year

peltier is a big step, you better have watercooling already if you plan on keeping a peltier cool.

peltier's themselves are very cheap, which is why a lot of newbies get sucked into spending $15 to get one, thinking they can just plug it in and get great overclock. doesn't work that way, you have to have a dedicated power supply for them, unless it's a very very weak peltier or you have a huge 300+ power supply and you're not running anything besides standard hard ware on your PC.
