Question on old Call of Duty games

Hey,

I think the first three Call of Duty, PC games are the best. Not a big fan of the modern weapons, dogs, artillery strikes and so on of the new games. My question is are these old games ok to play online. Does anyone play them? Are there hackers that ruin the game?

I'm sure there are some people who still play them online but probably a tiny fraction of what they were when they were new.

I booted up Call of Duty 1 a few months ago and there were people playing. I can't remember how many people there were, but there were definitely people.
