Question on OCZ Modstream install

First build in many years and I'm putting OCZ modstream 450 in a CoolerMaster Cav5 case with an Epox 9NPA Nforce4 Ultra board (Venice 3200 chip). Instructions for the PSU are a little muddy, but seem to say 1) separate out the four pin part of the 24 pin plug 2) plug the 20 pin part in (got that far) 3) grab the other 4 pin cord coming out of PSU and plug that into the 4 pin ATX plug on M/B. Q
Question is, am I right so far, do I use the separate 4 pin plug and b) does that 4 pin I dislodged from the 20+4 pin get plugged into anything or just hang out?

Steve

correct
4 pin yellow yellow black black (12V 12V GRD GRD) is for CPU voltage - only can go on one way (Pin 1 = blk)
extra 4 pin extended ATX plug just hangs (Red Orange Yellow Black)
