I just set up my rig and wanted to know what memory settings are good for this combo? I am running a stick of Crucial 2100.
Also, there is a setting "sdram idle timer" with the following choices: infinite,0t,8t,16t, and 64t. Which of these settings are best.
I am using the 1005 bios.
Thanks

I am using x2 sticks 256mb PC2100 crucial ram. I have the same board and was also wondering what the memory settings are. I installed the RAM and noticed that my chipset configurations are:

SDRAM (By SPD]
CAS latency: 2T
Ras to Cas: 2T
RAS precharge: 2T
SDRAM activie precharge: 5T
SDRAM Idle timer: Infinite
Optimization mode: normal
graphics aperture: 256mb
Video memory cache (UC)

These configurations were set by my BIOS (not me), after I installed the RAM of course. Our CAS latency for that Crucial PC2100 is 2.5, right? This is the first time I installed memory, so I'm not sure if everything in the chipset config. is correct. Are any of your configurations, as noted above, different than mine?

Also do you have any idea what the "OS/2 onboard memory>64m" means? Mine is showing disabled.

Are you running in a tubo mode?

I have a visiontek Ge3 Ti200, XPpro. x2 sticks 256mb PC2100 crucial. I don't think I have the 1005 BIOS.
