Hi,
I realize it is not a big deal, but I have my bookmarks in FF running down the left side of the screen, with separators grouping RSS feeds, quicklinks, folders, and search tools together. I have been doing that for years so I am used to where everything is, but I can't figure out how to do the same thing with IE7. The best I can do is put them in the same order, but it is not quite what I want.
Unfortunately, FF seems to be taking up enormous amounts of memory these days, so I am contemplating a switch to IE7 to see if it performs better. Any ideas? I have browsed the list of plugins, but nothing yet.....
While you are at it, the favorites thing is annoying, but there are a few more things I would like to see improved in IE7. Tab control is pretty immature, and I don't like having the search dialog box pop up in a separate area. Is there any way to tack that down to the bottom of the screen like in FF ?
Thanks,
BM.
