question on EIDE configuration

I'm sure i saw a post on this earlier, but i can't find it ..
I am going to have an dvd-rom drive and an ATA-66 30gb and ATA-100 30gb hard drives
how should i split these up between the 2 ata channels?

I'd put the hard drives as masters, each on its separate controller. Then slave the DVD drive off one of them.

Same advice, reason being you're probably going to access your hard drives more than the DVD drive (at least that's what I find with my setup at the moment with a CD drive instead of a DVD drive)

Primary Slave: None

Secondary Master: ATA66 -30G
Secondary Slave: DVD-ROM
