Desknote option
I am loooking to get a notebook for as cheap as possible, i don't really have the funds at all for a centrino / Radeon 9600 combo so please don't suggest anything like that. I was thinking more something i can use when im travelling out of the counry or to other citys as a replacement for my desktop.
I know desknotes are far less portable but i think they are more in my pricerange and suit my needs for now....
What i was wondering
I have a spare Athlon XP1700, 512mb PC2700 RAM can i just put these into the desknote system i listed above. Also does anyone know of a better / cheaper place to get a barebones Athlon XP desknote..... Price really is a big issue for me, so the cheaper the better, but i still want the thing to at least run my programs. *no games decent 2D performance should be fine*
