Question on dealing with the BOSS

I recently did some minor repairs to one of the computers [the main server no less] for my boss. It saved a lot of money to have me do it instead of calling tech support. However, she did not follow through on the agreement that was made in regards to payment. As she is not usually there when I arrive at work, I have written her a letter.
Please let me know what you think of it. Scrap it and start over?

BTW, talking to her does no good, she lets it in one ear and out the other. This way I have a copy of what I said and can make future decisions about my future at this company based on her reply.

That letter you wrote is a little confusing because of your wording.

You stated that the mgr. gave you 4 sick / 4 vacation hours instead of the 8 hours that you called in sick for. You then say you didn't agree with it, then ask that the mgr. reconsider the offer.

To me it sounds like you got the 4 sick / 4 vacation hours + 8 hours on the week of March 6th. What gives?

Yes, she is going to give me an extra 8 hours next week for my inconvenience. However, I am thinking down the line to this summer when I am not going to want to work on the last day of my vacation when I get home and unpack. The way she wants to do it, I am out 4hours sick and 4hours vaca. I do not want that. She said to let her know what I decided.

Ok, so I didn't word it very well. I guess it is back to the drawing board. However, if you knew the boss and everything that goes on there you might understand a little better. Who know's. So you figure I should just let her give me the extra 8 hours next week and leave well enough alone? I could use the extra time, and will accumulate more sick time by the time I go on vaca...
