Question on Cyberpower 900AVR Battery Backup

I installed the software that came with it, "Cyberpower PowerPanel Personal Edition" and when I go into power options / UPS in control panel in XP SP2, And click on UPS, says the service is stopped, status is greyed out, under details for manufacturer says None (this brand isnt listed as a choice).

Is there something I need to do, or by just running the software, that is enough to ensure its working/recognized by XP?

If you install the UPS manufacturers software, it overides any control by windows. You control it with the new software.
