Question on buliding

can I get some suggestions on building a machine with about 5-700 dollars. Excluding the monitor. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Basic home. It will be for my brother. He does have a buisness to run so he will be doing his payroll/invoices/etc on it. He is not a hardcore gamer like me but does stream the net alot.

what u think ausmus78? You can get double the ram for not much more and get a bigger hard drive like double the space for like 15.

Pretty good. I would suggest adding a 2nd 80GB drive for a RAID 1 config.

The only problem (if you can call it that) with the suggested build is the RAM. You can get a 1gb of corsiar valueselect here or at newegg for the same price as the OCZ w/o any rebates. OP doesn't need gaming performance RAM. Other than that you're set.

The only reason Im reccomending it is because I just built a M2n-e system yesturday and we used that ram and it worked well.

I don't think that system would require 1gb RAM at all.
