Question on 8k7a DDR Voltage setting!

From what I read on the booklet supplied... the Default setting on JP3 "DDR Adjust (2.5v)" is on pin 2-7 which is +0.1v

But isn't the DDR ram runs at 2.5v and makes the pin 1-6 +0.0v the correct setting?

Also, how do I install the motherboard drivers? do I install it after winXP install? or just boot from CD before winXP install?

Yes, Epox has choosen to overvolt the memory by default. The default setting should really be 2.5 V. If you are not oc:ing the memory you can lower it to 2.5 V, that's what I've done.

I don't think you need any of the drivers from the cd if you're using winxp. The built in drivers in xp are probably newer than the ones on the 8k7a cd. If you want to you could dl the latest agp driver from Amd and upgrade the driver in xp.
