Question mark on applications folder?

here is a screen-shot of the question mark on my applications folder? how do i fix it? it does not allow me to use my applications unless i search for them manually through the search bar.:thumbsdown:

Maybe the shortcut went wonky? You could try manually going to the Application folder and dragging it back to your dock. You could also try to repair permissions through the disk utility.
 
Try repairing permissions, and if that doesn't work, open up Finder, and drag the Applications folder (make sure you get the one at the root of the drive and not under your name) back to the dock, then drag the bad one out.

Also, looking at your wallpaper, perhaps stop dropping acid 🙂

Double click on your HD. Do you see your applications folder?

Also, have you managed to correct the issue yet?

I got a coin. I go to 3-5 meetings a week. And yes this issue was fixed although the icon now changes from a folder to a cursive A
