Question: How far is Grand Canyon from Phoenix?

I'm thinking about flying into Phoenix, then renting a car to drive up to Grand Canyon. I've been to Grand Canyon (from Vegas) and done the hiking and all that, but my girlfriend hasn't, and she really wants to go to Grand Canyon. I would like to know how long it would take to drive from Phoenix. Thanks in advance.

2 1/2 hours, at least. And there is much more to see on the drive up there from Phoenix. allow plenty of time to see the sites, maybe 2-3 days.
