when you overclock your system bus speed, you are also overclocking your ram. If you run your bus at 140mhz, that is where your ram will be also.

33 is what your PCI slots run at..... the farther you get from 33, the greater chance of having instability you have.... just try it out and see what happens

OK, I REALLY wanna overclock my memory, and my processor (1.2 Ghz Tbird) could use a little boosting too. The first 1.2 chip i had, i tried the pencil thing and i put it back and my system wouldnt POST. Did I get some static on the chip? Anyway, my question is, what are my chances of this happening again if i try? would it be possible to leave the chip inside the machine, taking off the fan, and then penciling it in? This would decrease my chances of killing it, i cant afford a THIRD processor...

my other question is...
If I dont connect the L1 (is it JUST L1?) bridges properly, what will happen? Will it die, or just not unlock? And what if i connect 2 bridges side by side together??

Thanks! Your answers may provide the fate of my computer in the coming weekend...
