I'm getting a new rig soon, but (and some of you may have had this same problem) I don't have enough money to get everything. I can get it all but the graphics card. I will be getting a DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-DR mobo. Will this run my old nVidia Riva TNT2 GPU? It's from a gateway from about 1999-2000. Feel free to laugh if you must, but when I can afford it I'll get 2x eVga 7800 GTX KO in SLI. Thanks.

i doubt it. That mobo is designed to run w/ PCI-E GPUs. PCI-E just cam out late last year/early this year.

crud, nevermind, it's AGP, I'm not very good with the differences between the two.
Does the DFI mobo come with an integrated GPU or am I stuck until I get the 7800?

I would, but I could just wait and use that money for the 7800, if newegg/zipzoomfly ever gets them back in stock.

Good. As long as you stand using the old system until you can acquire the new video card.

Actually, the capacitors on the mobo of the old system are ready to fail soon, so I'm typing this on my Dell laptop. Using this for gaming/etc doesn't work well, WMP won't play WMV files, and CS:S doesn't work well at 8FPS! No that's not a typo I really played CSS at eight FPS for a month!
