I have gotten girls to help me clean/redecorate my room, and some loving during college because I made them feel that their opinion is being heard.

that's great to hear. I had two female friends help me redecorate my place (well, it's not done yet).

unfortunately, they want to do what THEY want, and seem to have superimposed their views above mine.

Fortunately, they never had the chance to finish, and I was able to reclaim my rights.
