as a parent, yes. I know you had yours young right GB?

I did too, circumstances were not optimal, but man o man do I love my little rugrats. And I wouldnt change it.

Could you imagine? going back in time, having the opportunity to erase your loved ones from your life? nope, I couldn't.

Yup, absolutely.
I love the little yardapes.
I'll qualify this answer by admitting that you won't get the same answer every time you ask me :)
Fortunately for my kids, my wife blocked the deal I made last summer that was to send them to a Virginia tobacco farm for a player to be named later.

Absolutely! --> I'm a single mom, didnt get squat in child support, went thru all kinds of BS with my son when he was a teenager, he eventually turned in to a great young man and I am very proud of him.

Absolutely.

The 2 best things in my life. They have been so much better than I could have imagined.

There are some things I would do VERY differently over the past 10 years if I could do them over, but I would still have kids.

I would say no.

Unless it becomes the next Johnny B. MovieStar. And even then, I'd still have to talk to it. So, no.

Tricycle motors are one of the biggest if not the bigest joy in life. I dont see why ppl dont want to have kids. i would never trade my daughter for the world.

I do love my daughter, she is ten, but I had her young, nineteen. and before I had a career. I have been damn near absent fom home for the last 5yrs due to my work schedule. Prior to work, I spent 4yrs as a full time college student and in part time jobs.

I wish I had her later in life so I could provide her more things a kid should have, like a home. Although, she has everything else she could ever want.

I think I'm a better parent than my parents but I do wish I spent more time at home taking care of the little brat.

So in conlcuison: Glad to have experienced father-hood but would rather have experienced it later in life.

were you really expecting an answer other than yes

I think she really was expecting a few people to agree with her.

The Dear Abby poll asking this very same question resulted in a resounding 70% of parents answering "no"

I was curious to see if the relative annoynimity of the web would produce similar results.
or at least a few "yes but" style answers.

Parenting is demanding, hard work with uncertain outcome and that tends to be glossed over and seldom discussed.
