Class ring was just a plot device, to get Clark to go "evil". They did start last year as frosh, so I would imagine they're sophomores now. Need the show to have at least four years before they have to worry about post high school issues.

But didn't they just go to prom when last season ended?

It was called the "Spring Formal" and in a small school like that, I'm sure everyone is invited.

But this Spring Formal occurred at the end of the school year beacause it happened during the tornado (last episode of first season). Then in the second episode of the 2nd season, it showed them coming back to school after summer. That was that episode when Lex gets married to the HOT science teacher (who is she anyways?)

I love that show but I always forget it is on. I thought the Dr. looked familar also but not familar enought to look though the credits for his name.

I don't think it really matters but when you have a supposed 15-17 year old taking off their clothes to their underwear then it becomes grey area. Also, didn't they have an episode where they were all drinking beer by the lake?

last season they were freshmen (except whitney, he was a senior) and now they are all sophmores. as far as the ring thing, we ordered class rings sophmore year at my high school as well. they are all 15 or 16 i believe. lex, he was 9 in 1989 so that makes him...22 if he's already had his b-day, lol.

*edit* as for the "prom" they all called it the spring formal to just dance around it and act like it was ok that they were all there i suppose.

:Q Damn, you watch way too much tv! ;)

lol not really, Smallville is one of the few shows i watch on a weekly basis so it's kinda hard to forget the big details :p

I'm too lazy to look it up on IMDb, but I'm pretty sure it was the Cigarette-Smoking Man from The X-Files.

yes, he's the Cigarette-Smoking Man from the X-Files.

NO, The Mayor was the Cigarette-Smoking Man from the X-Files.

The Guy who played Doctor was the actor who chased after MAX in "Dark Angel" on Fox. It was cancelled this seasonal. I forgot his real name. I m surprised that he was in Smallville show and I get the feeling that he will show up in that show in the future.

(forgive me, I forgot how to paste the quote so if it doesnt look right, tell me how do that. :)

Stagate SG-1
