Ufwald,
We don't have a pre-configured disk for Linux, so I'll give some instructions here.
First, open up the "Home" icon on your desktop. Then click File/New/Folder and create the folder you want to put RC5 in. I use "RC5".
🙂 Then head to
the download page at Dnet and download the Linux client to the folder you just created. It will be the one called "[x86/ELF]".
After you've downloaded it, open Home again and browse over to it. Right click the Tar Ball, and select "Archiver". Then select File/Extract to and in the box that says "Destination" point it at the folder. Check "preserve file permissions", and click "OK". This will extract the files.
Then open up a terminal (little black-screened monitor icon on the task bar). Change directories over to the RC5 directory. You do this just like DOS with the "CD" command.
Once in that directory, type ./dnetc and hit enter. Note that you only use the "./" in front of it if you are logged in as root. This will bring up the configuration menu.
Set the Dnet ID to
rc5@tacube.com, and then go in to "2", and "6", and change "automatically select a keyserver" to NO. Save that. Then go in to 3. "Keyserver Hostname" and set that to tacube.teamanandtech.com" save it, and zero your way all the way back out and it should be up and running.
Note that you can change any configuration settings at any time just like it's done in Windows by using the -config option.
