Question for PowerBuilder developers

The company I work for has developed most of their applications in PowerBuilder. Today we came across something which seems to defy all explanations, and so far we haven't found a Sybase problem report which addresses this. Here's the problem:

We have a datawindow that was probably created under PowerBuilder 6.0. When doing a preview on this datawindow, one of the computed values is obviously incorrect. If we do a "save as" on this datawindow (and thereby saving it as a PowerBuilder 6.5 datawindow), the computed value begins showing a correct result.

This has some of my co-workers in a frenzy because it means that all our legacy code is suspect. We're running on Win2K workstations, and some of my coworkers think it might have something to do with the OS.

Has anyone else had PowerBuilder problems like this?
