Duh...............I just reread your post, with a mobile cpu all the voltage you are going to get is what you have. The K8S8X won't give a mobile cpu the full 1.55v the board will give to a desktop cpu.

how long ? up to you, overnight, or 24 hrs. If you are going to have problems it will prob happen after the first 4-6 hrs.

lower voltage won't hurt anything, but low volts will kill your OC.

Will it do any harm to the OC if I'm just idling? I really dont care if it's not running at full OC when I'm not doing anything with my computer...
