what is the metric equivalent to mileage? Is there even a term for talking about kpl?

kilometage?
kilomage?

Mileage is measured in mpg

In the metric system it is kph.
😕 miles per gallon = kilometers per hour?

or do you mean hectoliters?
and if so, why don't they sell fuel in $/hectoliter?

I realized my mistake already...

Thanks.

Either I watch too much American TV or I've only heard local reports (Canada metric) say fuel economy, fuel efficiency and even mileage. Hey, our cars have a mph number on the speedometer.

I had never been in a canadian sold car, so the first time I was in my buddies car I didn't realize the primary markings were for Kilometers instead of Miles.

I just thought he must have had a nice car to have been driving 120M/H and have it felt like we barely broke 70.
